Home for the Holidays: A quiet celebration
Posted by Chloe Lappen on
We all look forward to the holidays. Parties filled with those we love, dressing up, cheerful cocktails, and those sugary christmas cookies. And although this year's celebrations may be quieter, it doesn't need to be less special. Some traditions may change slightly, but there is room for new traditions and a chance to embrace the slower holiday season.
This year, we will keep our holiday gathering to our immediate household, but we still want it to be special. Here is what you'll find at our holiday table this year.
To start, I will be making a garland with dried citrus and eucalyptus to lay on the table instead of doing floral arrangements. I still want some height, so I will add the ceramic taper holders with the new moss color tapers.
I own and love my WRF plates. They add something special for being simply a white plate. These will be the foundation for the table setting complete with mustard linen napkins and our ceramic napkin rings.
I have collected various handmade serving pieces from the shop. A few of my favorites from Convivial, Earthen, Holland Bowl Mill, Mex Handcraft are listed below.
Snow Nesting Serving Bowls $32-$52
Although there will most likely be wine with the meal, I always like to have a specialty cocktail to begin with. This year I decided to use our new Cranberry Spice Mixer (love this for the holiday color and taste) with prosecco. I will garnish the drinks with dried citrus wheel and a sprig of rosemary all finished in our coupe glasses.

We hope you have a lovely holiday and cherish those moments with loved ones. Happy Holidays from us at Gray.
